Database of Women’s Travel Writing, 1780-1840 provides full and accurate bibliographical records for nearly 200 titles, all the known books of travel published in Britain and Ireland by women between 1780 and 1840. It is part of a larger database project which will include all travel books published in this period. Periodic updates on the project and information about featured travel writers will appear on the blog.

Helter Skelter: collecting all that is known about Helter Skelter. The aim of this site is to collect all the information available about The Beatles’ ‘Helter Skelter’, its many cover versions, and its parallel life as murder music. This project grew out of academic research, first published in French as “Helter Skelter” et l’héritage polémique des années 1960 in Volume! La revue de musique populaires.
